July 18th 2009 saw the coming together of many
months planning, when the school reunion finally took place. |

A great attendance of around 340 turned out in less that
favourable weather conditions. |
|
| |
The weather wasn't the best as the event took
place under grey skies with occasional drizzle being the main |
|
| |
dampener of the day. Happily the mass at
4pm took place in relatively dry conditions. |
|
| |

The Mass was
followed by Brid & Neil opening their home for tea, coffee and
cakes to be served. The Reunion book |
|
| |
was on sale in the
main marquee for a very reasonable 10 euro and very good it is to!
Obviously the committee have put |
|
| |
a lot of time into
researching the history of the school and the area in general.
Many old pupils have submitted stories of |
|
| |
their time in the
Accony area. |
